In 2009, on behalf of TurnAround, Inc. and W.A.V.E., I made up several fundraiser ideas to support domestic and sexual violence awareness. One of the ideas that I was most proud of was the Purple Poetry Book (great alliteration, such an English teacher!). This year, it was created again! I am ecstatic to see awareness continue in the Baltimore City and County communities. Since 2009, TurnAround Inc. has create a Rape Helpline (443.279.0379)!If you are interested in supporting TurnAround, Inc, there are a variety of ways you can help, especially for the holidays!
- Adopt an individual family and donate items on their wishlist
- donate toys for the agency's annual children's party
- Donate gift/food baskets or gift cards
