One year ago in August, Stacey McBride-Irby, The Black Doll Affair’s Honorary Black Doll and designer of Mattel's "So In Style Barbie," was preparing for a September 29th, the world-wide introduction of her afro-centric Barbie Dolls. Almost one year later, Black Doll Affair Dolls, fans and community supporters from ALL OVER the country, will mark Stacey's accomplishments to remind a black girl of her beauty, with an all black Fashion Affair & "So In Style Barbie".
I had a great, laughing time with my fellow Dollistas at Hudson's Lounge in DC. I am looking forward to the next event...
