Moving On Up!

After leaving Aigle, Switzerland, my train route turned into narrow tracks that wound around a mountain heading to Leysin. The higher we went on the mountain, the more fresh and crisp the air became. What a pleasant, but scary, experience!

I finally arrived at Leysin American School. I was pleased that many of the girls I have met are so pleasant and friendly. When I initially arrived with all of my luggage, one group of girls stopped and asked me if I had just arrived to attend school, lol. I was glad to be seen as a young girl! ;) I cannot wait to work with them!

I must say that between jet lag, a lot of walking, pulling and lifting, I am very, VERY tired right now. However, I have been successful so far, staying up during my entire first day here and sleeping through the first night. Today is only the first day and I am already having a blast!

I am so thankful for this opportunity... :)
