9:45 a.m.I sat a table today with a beautiful young girl name Megan. I found out through the presenter, David, that Megan had been sexually abused by two different men (including clergy) and she was in the process of exposing them and going through trial. Megan is only 19 years old.
What bravery! I only wish that I was able to speak out at her age, then have the courage to attend a survivor conference. This experience thus far has been a real eye-0pener for me...
As the day has progressed, Megan and I have become friends... what a blessing it is to know that you are not alone...
