Diamonds Xcel (DX), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, proudly announced the second annual Diamonds Xcel “TEEN FINE ARTS AWARDS" at the Zanzibar on the Waterfront in Washington, DC.

The ultimate objectives of the DX TFAA are to: showcase youth talent; provide vocational alternatives for fine arts students; reinforce cultural, literacy & creative expression; provide a forum where youth excellence is rewarded; and establish a comprehensive teen life-skill learning platform that nurtures positive peer motivation and charitable community outcomes.

Many local community and talented VIPs were in attendance!!! Ms. Rashida Jolley is the young brilliant harp player from the DC area, who recently appeared on the nationally syndicated NBC show, “America’s Got Talent.” She performed live in addition to the “Beat Ya Feet Kings” from the syndicated “America’s Best Dance Crew”. Ms. Jeannie Jones (Radio/TV Personality) was the co-host for the event and many other distinguished guests were invited, including Washington DC City Council Chair Gray, Council-members Jim Graham, Harry Thomas Jr., and Michael Brown.
