Volunteering for the David B. Wright Memorial Foundation

Later today, I had the pleasure of volunteering for the David B. Wright Memorial Foundation, which helps persons of crime victims and families with health and education disparities. This foundation restores persons of crime victims and families with health and education disparities to wellness in self, family, and community by education, and life skill resources. I met the CEO and President, Shawnte` Wright, at the Protecting Our Children event a few days prior. I am so glad to have met such a strong and courageous woman. She lost her husband to violence occuring in Baltimore City and has driven herself to make a change, similarly to Angela Cannie of Brigin' A Gap.
