I drew the names for a raffle of refurbished computers to be given to families in need. The winners are pictured above and below.

To further encourage the families, I offered my crown to the mothers and daughters for picture taking. They formed a line... :D

Greetings Sister ,
WOW Saturday was quite a special day during our 2009 8th Annual Backpack Drive , it was so beautiful and reassuring to see the outreach of Hope extended to our children and mothers/fathers alike.
After weeks of planning, purchasing by faith, waiting on the Lord and believing for his Best, God as always showed up on time and everything came together wonderfully...just as he planned.
Collectively we distributed over 110 backpacks with more than 2,000 supply items.
I would like to thank ALL of our members and partners for your kind seed donation of Hope and Heart...it truly made the difference.
To our sweet volunteers I extend a special thanks for your heart filled support and generous sacrifice of time to help encourage others. You all looked beautiful in your coordinating attire as well.
