I spoke to the board of directors and volunteers of the Steppin’ Out program through Turn Around, Inc. Through auctions, food tastings and a party, this committee fundraises over $100,000 annually for the past ten years for sexual abuse survivors and Turn Around. I shared my abuse story, the importance of their raising money and my reactions to their prestigious event, which I attended earlier this year.
