I answered the phones for MPT to help collect raised money for various programs shown on the channel. It was such a fulfilling experience. I was treated very well as a volunteer and they fed me a full meal during a break! My husband assisted me on this volunteer event and we both enjoyed the experience.
During the month of September, I was chosen as the volunteer deserving of a spotlight in the MPT monthly newsletter. This newsletter was sent out to over 600 readers across Maryland. I was honored to be chosen by such a prestigious organization.
